The Gregory and Marie Moses Computer Mission

The Gregory and Marie Moses Computer Mission of the Plymouth United Church of Christ donated computers to  an entire classroom of 4th graders (31 students) at the Fairbanks Elementary School (DPS).

Rev. Nicholas Hood III decided to bridge the digital divide in our community by providing free computers to neighborhood youth who demonstrate at least a 3.0 grade point average established a computer mission in memory of Marie and Greg Moses.

As of 2006, the we have donated 60 computers to children who live near or go to school near the church.. It is projected that a similar number of youth will benefit this year. Each of these students have been given a new computer by Plymouth Church because each of them have achieved a 3.0 or better grade point average.

If you, or your business would like to contribute a new computer to this program, call or write to Rev. Hood at: Plymouth United Church of Christ, 600 E. Warren Ave., Detroit, MI. 48201
